Pink-footed Goose
in the Avon Valley
These two birds
were found during the morning of New Year's Eve just off the Avon Causeway
in Dorset, where they remained until the early afternoon. Later in the
day, they were relocated, but slightly further north, on private land
in Hampshire. These would make a welcome entry onto the harbour list
were they to venture just a few miles south.
