Odonata / Butterfly/ Moth Update - 06 June 2008

Good numbers of Common Blue Damselfly Enallagma cyathigerum are now present, especially around the Batters and Lily Pond, with smaller numbers of Small Red Damselfly Ceriagrion tenellum.

Of the dragonflies, a few Four-spotted Chaser Libellula quadrimaculata are evident near the Lily Pond and Black-tailed Skimmer Orthetrum cancellatum are around the Ironstone Quarry and Batters.
