Odonata / Butterfly / Moth Update - 16 June 2008

There are now good numbers of Four Spotted Chaser Libellula quadrimaculata near the Lilly Pond and lots of male Black Tailed Skimmer Orthetrum cancellatum around the Ironstone Quarry.

Also, Azure Damselfly Coenagrion lunulatum around Nursery area and the first Common Darters Sympetrum striolatum are emerging. Increasing numbers of Emperor Anax imperator patrolling around ponds.
