2nd May: Members' Day
Ringing demonstration and field guiding by some of the CHOG regulars, commencing 7:00am at the HHC. This has proved extremely popular in the past and is open to all members. For non-members, it will be possible to join on the day. More details will be posted nearer the time. Leaders include: Mark Andrews, Alan Hayden, Roger Howell, Darren Hughes, Leo Pyke, Kevin Sayer, Dave Smith and Ian & Jean Southworth

2nd May: Stanpit Waders
This event is in conjunction with Dorset County Council's Bird Week and is the regular walk around Stanpit Bight to view the migrant waders, and provides an alternative for members who after the ringing demonstration may prefer to go to Stanpit instead. Meet at 9:30am by the Stanpit Visitor's Centre. Duration around 2-hours and the event is free for members, but £2.50 for non-members.

5th June: The Breeding Birds of Stanpit Marsh and Breakfast
This event is in conjunction with Christchurch Borough Council. For the last 5-years, Dave Smith has been conducting breeding bird surveys around the marsh for Christchurch Borough Council. This walk will take in most of the breeding species, which will be pointed out and described by CHOG's most experienced observer and can be followed by a continental style breakfast in the visitor's centre. Walk is free for members and £3.00 for non-members; breakfast £3.00. Booking is essential, please telephone 01425 272479. Meet by the Stanpit Visitor's Centre at 6.00am. Leader - Dave Smith.
