The Birds of Dorset by George Green

This title is to be published by Christopher Helm, in mid-2004, and promoted at the 2004 Rutland Bird Fair.

The Dorset Bird Club has been given a one off fundraising opportunity to raise funds for a ‘Conservation Fund’ (to be formally launched before the book is published). Anyone carrying out work in Dorset to further our knowledge of, or interest in, Dorset Birds will be eligible to apply for a small grant to assist their project (projects will need to meet a certain criteria). Each species may be sponsored by two individual sponsors (at a minimum of £20) and one business sponsor (at a minimum of £50). CHOG have sponsored their emblem bird, the Osprey.
