Large White

• Wingspan about 60 mm (2.4 inches) but often smaller, and on many occasions not noticeably different in size from Small and Green-veined whites
• Upperside : similar to Small White and Green-veined White, but with black (not grey) wingtips on the front wings, extending all round the tip (not just to the tip)
• Small numbers from May until September all along the tracks from Wick Ferry to the Nursery
