Short-toed Eagle

October 2020
The Short-toed Eagle that was picked-up in a poor state at Hengistbury and sadly later died in care, has been formally accepted by the BBRC (British Birds Rarities Committee) and constitutes the 330th species recorded in Christchurch Harbour since modern-day records began in 1956. This is only the fourth UK record.
